My hubby has a very sweet way of celebrating mother’s day with me! Today is supposed to be my day, right??!! But it turned out to be a boys day out! My hubby and I watched Iron Man 2 with his cousins… If it’s not because of my “pag-iinarte” (drama), we wouldn’t be sitting on a lazy boy (far away from them)! Don’t get me wrong, I like his cousins, but not on Mother’s day! H-E-L-L-O!!!
Anyway, just not to ruin my mood, I didn’t mind that there’s an occasion today! After watching the movie, I treated myself an ice cream from Stick House (Italian Gelato on a Stick) while my hubby is busy fiddling his blackberry! I also went to flip-flops to get a pair of Havainas since I won a Php500 gift certificate from our office’s recent basketball game. Unfortunately, I didn’t like their designs…
At the end of the day, we can’t deny the fact that it’s still Mother’s day!!! So Nico & I treated our family (Nicole, Nico, his parents, Nico’s brother Jay and my friend Anxsh) for dinner in Shanghai Bistro, Eastwood City.

Here’s a poem written by Rev. Fr. Ariel F. Robles from St. Augustine Parish in Baliuag, Bulacan. This made me cry real hard as I recall the hardships and sacrifices of my mom.
Mom,
I know you’re undergoing the most difficult time of your life but I want you to know that my brothers and I will be here for you no matter what happens…
I love you , mom!
