O’ Sonho is a Portuguese fusion restobar located at Eastwood City and Jupiter St. Makati. This was our first time to try out Portuguese cuisine so we don’t have any comparison at all if this is the real thing or not.

Peri-peri chicken on fragrant chicken rice – I asked the server about their specialty and this is what she recommended. Tender juicy butterfly cut chicken thighs marinated in O’Sonho’s own peri-peri sauce. I personally liked this one because it’s so tender and not that spicy! You have an option to make it spicier though…

Madeira Beef Shank (Php 490)
This is a tender and prime cut stewed beef shank marinated in madeira wine, lemon rind and parmesan cheese served with whipped potatoes. This is more like beef caldereta without the tomato sauce. We liked it at first but the serving is sooo big it comes to a point that it’s already “nakakaumay”. (Sorry, can’t find the direct translation to that…)
