18 yr. old female young star, Charice Pempengco joins Glee on their 2nd season!
“It’s official. I’m on Glee (next season) but (there is a) story behind it,” Pempengco tweeted.
EW has confirmed the 18-year-old singing superstar will play a “foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder.”
Charice made her own name in “Little Big Star” which is a local TV show here in the Philippines. The videos were spread over the net and caught the interest of US TV shows like Oprah. Since then, she has been a favorite of Oprah, Ellen and her hit song “Pyramid” is on top of the billboard charts!
She is also scheduled to sing the national anthem at the inauguration of Philippine President-elect Benigno Aquino on June 30.
After Charice Pempengco’s hit “Pyramid” (feat. Iyaz), she now covers Justin Bieber’s “Baby”. I must admit, this is quite addicting. This song keeps playing in my mind! So LSS!
After 4 months of vacation, the much awaited remaining episodes of Glee – Season 1 will be aired starting April 3rd. This would be their 14th episode with Hell – O as the title.
As per TV.com:
Glee returns with a bang: new couples, new songs and new attitude. Rachel and Finn have a rocky start to their relationship at the same time that Will and Emma try to find a way to be together. After sectionals, New Directions focuses on Vocal Adrenaline, their new competition that may offer new love interests as well.
I would have to watch the last episode again to perk up my memory!
